Shoaib Akhtar backs Pakistan team to do wonders in England

Srinagar, July 10: Backing Pakistan fully former Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Akhtar has said that he believes Pakistan team can do wonders in England during this tour.

Akhtar has backed team fully unlike other former Pakistan cricketers who have given no chance to Pakistan team.

“This is a very important tour for Pakistan. Pakistan needs to come out with something really good out of this [series]. I really think that Pakistan can do wonders. I wish them best of luck,” Shoaib Akhtar was quoted as saying by the Pakistan local media.

Former pacer who is known Rawalpindi Express has also lauded the Pakistan Cricket Board for sending a 29-man squad way ahead of time in order to ensure that the team got ample practice.

Pakistan is scheduled to play three Tests and three T20Is from August 5 to September 1.  

Pertinently former players like Syed Ajmal and Basit Ali had said that they would be surprised even if Azhar Lai lead side wins a single Test during the Tour.
