In the ongoing Shalbugh Premiere League (SPL), Green XI Asham thrashed Valley Boys Safapora by one wicket in a thrilling encounter, here at the beautiful field of Shalbugh on Friday.
Batting first, Valley Boys got off to a flying start as they touched the 100 run milestone in just 11 overs with one wicket down.
But then a magical spell of spin duo Nasir Ahmad and Feroz Magrey who shared 7 wickets together restricted Valley Boys to an average total of 143 in the alloted 20 overs.
In reply, Asham got off to flying start as the openers Feroz Magrey and Imran Haji did well in the batting powerful.
Then came the captain Mudasir Malik who played a splendid knock of 18 ball 40 run and helped his team chase down the total.
He was adjusted as man of the match for his fiery knock and 2 wickets.
