Shahid Afridi unhappy with Ihsanullah sitting out during NZ series

Srinagar: After Former PCB Chief Ramiz Rajaz, the former Pakistan skipper Shahid Afridi has also expressed his displeasure on pacer Ihsanullah being kept on benches during ongoing series against New Zealand.

“Ihsanullah bowled very well during the series against Afghanistan in Sharjah and therefore, it is unreasonable to not play him against New Zealand,” Shahid Afridi was quoted as saying.

Previously, former Pakistan cricketer, Ramiz Raja, also expressed his disappointment over the exclusion of Ihsanullah from the playing XI against the Blackcaps.

“In my opinion, Pakistan should let Ihsanullah play. He has already proven himself in the Afghanistan series in UAE, and it’s unlikely that he has suddenly fallen behind the line. Furthermore, he has done nothing wrong and possesses a unique talent for generating extra bounce, which gives him added comfort and confidence in a winning environment,” he said.
