After finishing the previous year’s domestic circuit as best All-Rounder of Country.
Parveez Rasool again continued his consistent run in country’s top Domestic season- Ranji Trophy. This year he scored 327 runs with bat and claimed 28 wickets with ball in 6 matches.
He finished Ranji Trophy 2017-18 as second best All-Rounder and 4th highest wicket taker.
Earlier, in summer, after IPL snub, he went to play a one-day tournament in Bangladesh and performed superbly there. He helped his team to win that tournament by his All-Round show.
Before the start of Ranji Trophy, JKCA almost withdrew him as skipper of the team. But this didn’t deterred him a bit as he not only performed himself well but brought team together.
Not only with bat and ball, Parveez have been outstanding with his captaincy as well.
The selflessness and hunger, he shows on field for teams betterment is surely par appreciable. His performances and success are enough to describe him as the best ever player as well as captain produced in state. We are pretty sure that, he would be soon seen as permanent member of national team.
