J&K Power Development Corporation (JKPDC) has extended the last date for the submission of the forms for the footballers who intend to take part in the selection process. The last date has been extended to June 30. JKPDC invited applications from registered football players for their engagement as players of JKSPDC football team on contract basis for a period of one year on an honorarium of Rs 10,000 per month besides other benefits.
The players apart from being permanent resident of J&K should fall in the age group of 16 to 25 years. The players need to have represented State in atleast one national event. Former players of JKSPDC are also eligible to participate in the trials. However, they would be given no preference in selection.
