Samiullah Beigh Cricket Academy in collaboration with department of Physical Education of Islamia College is organising a free of cost coaching camp at Islamia college Srinagar with all available logestic support from the college.
Beigh who represented the state of J&K in Ranji Trophy and other higher level cricket for 17 long years very recently retired from shorter format of state level cricket.
In conversation with the college Director sports, Beigh expressed that ” this is just a small initiative to give back something to the game which has given me a lot. I know one week is very limited time to make any significant improvement in cricketing skills but we will be focusing on basics and series of drills which the youngsters can practice at home and come back improved players as and when we arrange a similar camp again.” “This will be a great beginning for a wonderful mission for improvement of basic cricketing techniques in batting, bowling and fielding for the future cricketers by one of the best and high level cricketer of the state who has rubbed shoulder with best in the cricketing world” said the Director sports of the college.
