Three Thang-Ta martial art girls shined for J&K in the 3rd International Thng-Ta martial art championship held in South Korea by bagging medals.
While representing India in the event in which players from 10 Countries of Singapore, Taiwan, Philppines, Uzbekistan, Veitnam, Indonesia, Malaysia , Russia, India and hosts South Korea participated, JK girls secured three medals.
Sairah Zahoor bagged gold while as Rabia Zahoor bagged silver. Tamajud Saif bagged bronze medal.
The 3rd International Thang-Ta championship concluded at Martial Arts Park, Chungju, South Korea on Wednesday. Uzbekistan were declared overall champions while as Philpinnes were runners-up. India finished third with three gold,one silver and one bronze medal.
The event was organised by Korea Thang Ta Federation under the aegis of World Thang Ta Federation and World Martial Arts Union.
Ejaz Ahmad, General Secretary of J&K Thang-Ta Association was Indian team manager for the event.
