Sabreen of 1st year finished first in Govt. Women College M.A. Road Srinagar Annual College Road Race on May, 3rd – 2018 in which large number of students participated.
The race started from SKICC to Nishat gate. The race was flagged off by Principal Prof. Shaheen Altaf of the contingent at around 6.10 am. The following students bagged different prizes in the race.
Sabreen Rashid of 1st year, Muskaan of 2nd year, Adfar of 2nd year, Mehak of 2nd year and Zareen of 1st Year finished 1 to 5th respectively.
The Principal of College while distributing Prizes among the winners threw light on the importance of sports and advised the participant to take interest in sports activities which is important for all overall development of their personality.
The Principal assured the College Sports Committee of full support for developing the sports. The Physical Director of the College thanked to SSP Traffic, SSP City Srinagar, Media and Medical team for extending their full support in conducting the event smoothly.
