While the run for juniors was held inside Kashmir University campus, the senior cross country event was held from Nishat garden to Saffron park Foreshore Road.
The junior run first group comprising of class 3rd to 5th students on Tuesday, May 23, was flagged off by the Chief Proctor of Kashmir University, Dr. Naseer Iqbal who was also the chief guest of the event.
The second group comprised of classes 1stand 2nd which was flagged off by Executive Magistrate Revenue Samiullah Naqashbandi. The race concluded at Maulana Romi Gate of Kashmir University. From there the students were transported in school buses to R.P School campus where ten top position holders were given medals and certificates by the hands of our respected guests.
The first phase of Cross Country was organized on 20thMay in which the athletes from 6th to 10thclasses participated. The event was witnessed by a large number of people including parents and well wishers of the school.
In Phase II group 1Fardeen Basharat Shahfarid of class 5th finished first while as Huvaid Ashaq Fazili of class 5th finished second. Muhammad Zaid 5th, Hyder Hussain Bhat 5th and Tawheed Hamid 5th bagged third , fourth and fifth places respectively.
In Position holders Group II Phase 2, Zaid Bin Bilal Allaie of class 2nd finished first while as Reyan Abass Dar of 2nd, Numaan Nazir Bhat of class 1st, Rayan Riyaz Bhat of 2nd and Mohammad Riyan Bazaz of class 2nd finished, second , third , fourth and fifth respectively.
In phase 1, group 1, Bariz Bashir Bhat of class 10th finished first while as Sheikh Asad 9th, Hanan Marghoob 10th, Faizan Faisal Bin Bashir 10th and Mohammad Mujtaba Bhat 10th finished second, third , fourth and fifth respectively.
In Group II Phase 1, Mohammad Umer Muzzafar Bhat of 7th finished first Ehsan ulHaq 7th , Jibran Rashid 7th, FaizanFayaz 7th, SuhaibAftab 7th and Mohammad Shahid 7th finished second, third, fourth and fifth respectively.
