Rasikh Salam, who is making his comeback to the J&K side after a long injury, on Tuesday, bowled a brilliant spell against Punjab at Sher-e-Kashmir Stadium in the ongoing practice match series between J&K and Punjab.
The pacer scalped four wickets in his four-over spell. Yudhvir Singh, who plays for Lucknow Supergiants in IPL, also picked up three wickets as Punjab posted a strong total of 180 runs on board.
For them, Gitansh Khera was the highest run-getter, scoring 59 while Naman Dhir also struck a fifty.
J&K will now be chasing the 181-run target in the allotted 20 overs. Earlier, J&K won the toss and opted to bowl first and notably, Umran Malik wasn’t included in J&K’s playing XI.
