Ranji Trophy: Pratap , Samiullah take JK to 270/6 at stumps

Srinagar: The unbeaten 81 run partnership between Aditya Pratap and Samiullah Beigh helped JK to post 270 for the loss of six wickets on the opening day of the Ranji trophy match against Tripura at Mumbai on Monday.

After the early setbacks, it was left to Aditya Pratap and Samiullah to save JK from going down easily. Duo joined at the score of 181 runs and have so for put in unbeaten stand of 81 runs.

At stumps, Pratap was batting on 65 while as Samiullah was batting on 35.samiullah

Earlier batting first JK lost openers Shubham Khajuria and Umair Nissar for the score of 14 runs. Pranav Gupta and Ian Dev resurrected JK inning taking total 123 when both fell in quick succession.

Parvez Rasool got out cheaply after scoring mere five runs while as Punit Bisht scored 3. Pranav Gupta was second best scorer of the day with 55 while as Ian Dev scored 59.
