Srinagar: JK were in strong position in reply to Services first inning total of 477 runs, thanks to century slammed by Shubham Khajuria and Ian Dev’s 70 in 152 run unbroken partnership between the two at Jaipur on Saturday.
JK started day on 96 for the loss of one wicket. The duo of Shubham and Ian Dev continued to play brilliantly, taking JK total past 200 run mark at lunch. After facing 72 overs Jk were on 203 for the loss of only one wicket. Shubham was batting on 101 not out having faced 230 deliveries that included 14 boundaries and one six. Ian Dev was batting on 70 having faced 157 deliveries.
Pranav Gupta is the only wicket so far to fall in JK inning for 29 runs. JK still trail Services by 274 runs.
In JK’s first inning star cricketer Parvez Rasool had taken yet another five wicket haul.
