Srinagar: J&K set target of 411 runs for Goa as they were able to post 261 runs in their second in after bundling out bundled out Goa for 77 runs in first inning at Surat on Friday.
At stumps Goa were on 22 without loss in second inning trailing by 390 runs to win the match.
On the second day of its Ranji trophy match, Goa started proceedings of the day from 43 for the loss of five of five wickets. They got all out for 77 runs. Ram Dayal took four wickets while as Umar Nazir took three. Parvez Rasool chipped with two and Samiullah one. Goa fell short of J&K first inning total by 150 runs.
In second inning JK were able to post 261 runs for the loss of all wickets.
Puneet Bisht played gem of a inning scoring crucial 87 run knock while as Ian Dev scored 64 runs. Shubam Khajuria scored 48.
Adil Reshi scored 2, Bandeep 6, Parvez got out for zero, Manhas 12 and Ram Dayal 3, Samiullah 3 and Umar Nazir 3 all got out cheaply. Amir Aziz remained unbeaten on 15 for JK. For Goa Pandekar and Yadav shared three wickets each.
In its first inning J&K had scored 227 runs. Parvez top scored with 82 and Ian Dev scored 67. Bisht scored 40 runs.
