Ranji Trophy, JK vs CH: Gloomy weather back, play unlikely on Day 3

GGM Science College ground, Jammu

Jammu, January 29: With gloomy weather back in Jammu, the Ranji Trophy encounter between J&K and Chattisgarh is unlikely to start on day three as well.

The second day was also washed out as it showered heavily in the winter capital on Tuesday, leaving both teams disappointed.

However, the weather improved earlier in the morning, owing to which it seemed play might resume after lunch. But the clouds again bursted, making it almost impossible for the players to go out on field.

Both the teams haven’t came out of their hotels, an insider informed, adding, “It doesn’t look like there would any play today as well.”

Earlier, on day one, visitors Chattisgarh were 270/4 in 90 overs after opting to bat first.
