Srinagar: JK Ranji team was struggling at 220 for the loss of six wickets after 64 overs on the opening day of the Ranji trophy match against Tripura at Mumbai on Monday.
Batting first JK lost openers Shubham Khajuria and Umair Nissar for the score of 14 runs. Pranav Gupta and Ian Dev resurrected Jk inning taking total 123 when both fell in quick succession.
Parvez rasool got out cheaply after scoring mere five runs while as Punit Bisht scored 3. Pranav Gupta was second best scorer of the day with 55 while as Ian Dev scored 59.
When this report was being filled, Aditya Pratap was batting on 32 and Samiullah Beigh on 16. For Tripura Mura Singh and Rana Dutta took two wickets each.
