Ranji Trophy: Auqib Nabi leads fightback; J&K cross 200-run mark

Srinagar, February 04: All-rounder Auqib Nabi led the fightback after J&K lost quick wickets, helping visitors cross 200-run mark in the ongoing Ranji Trophy encounter against Tripura at Agartala.

J&K was 157-6 when the Baramulla-born came to the crease. He straightaway counter-attacked the Tripura bowling, hitting three fours within first six balls. Wicket-keeper batsman also looked steady on the other side.

However, the right-hander departed when J&K was on verge of reaching 200 runs. Auqib though continued his brilliance, taking visitng team to 226/7 when this report was being filed.

Auqib was playing on 41 and Abid Mushtaq on 10 off 24.
