Srinagar: JK’s batting once again failed as the whole team got bundled out for 111 runs in their second inning on the fourth day of the Ranjhi trophy match against Andhra Pradesh at Mumbai on Sunday.
By getting all out for ‘shock’ total of 111 in second inning JK set a target of 190 for AP to win the match. In reply, AP got off to brisk start with only two wickets down after having scored 63 runs 15 overs. Both wickets have been picked up by Parvez Rasool. KS Bharat scored 31 of 43 while as P Kumar scored 19 of 21. Viharai and R Teja were at the crease when this report was being filled.
Earlier JK inning bundled out for paltry 111. Shubham top scored for JK with 49 while only three other batsman, Ian Dev, Parvez and Puneet crossed double figures. For AP, Bhargav bhat took five wicket haul while as Vijay took three.
JK in first inning had scored 334 while as AP replied with 255. JK got lead of 79 runs in first inning but owing to miserable second inning display JK is currently staring at defeat.
