Uttersoo Anantnag, April 24: In the ongoing Ramadan Cup Uttersoo Anantnag, Star XI Uttersoo registered a big win over Sydney Sixers Shangus by 55 runs.
Batting first, Star 11 posted a mammoth total of 242 on board in alloted 20 overs. Javaid played a brilliant innings of 116 runs from just 48 balls while as D Kachru also added 60 runs to his name.
Chasing the huge target, Shangus fought hard thanks to the brilliant partnership of over 100 runs between Basit Wani and Irfan but eventually fell short of the target by 55 runs(187 in 20 overs). Muzafar Lone took 3 wickets for Star 11.
Lastly, Javaid was declared as player of the match for his brilliant batting perfomance.
