Pulwama, July 7: Known for launching the ball way over the fence, Pulwama’s Parvez Parra on Sunday played a blistering knock of 140 runs in 70 balls at Chandgam Pulwama.

Playing for Tahab Tigers in Chandgam Cricket Tourney, Parveez looked in an unreal touch, making life hard for bowlers, including both seamers and tweakers.

He struck balls to all the corners of ground, providing the audience some real aura of power-hitting. The swashbuckler went on to score a stunning knock of 140 runs in 70 balls.

The right-handed batsman has been in top touch this season, scoring runs on a consistent basis. Enriched with the ability of clearing fence with ease, Parveez can be a handy customer in shorter-format of the game.

If given an opportunity at the top level, the strong built cricketer might do wonders as he can role his arms as well apart from being good in the field.
