PCB conducts another COVID-19 test for Mohammad Hafeez & others

Pakistan Cricket Board has gone ahead with another set of COVID-19 test for the 10 players and support staff who had tested positive earlier for the Coronavirus.

As per report in ARY, former Pakistan captain Mohammad Hafeez, pacer Wahab Riaz, masseur Malang Ali were sent to the hospital for the COVID-19 test during quarantine as the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) itself informed all players to do self-isolation.

The report further said that PCB had announced that the sample of the players would be taken from their homes as they were tested positive for COVID-19 in their last tests but this morning players were asked to go to the hospital to give samples.

Ten players who were tested positive underwent tests at their respective cities today. Haris Rauf, Haider Ali, Shadab Khan were tested in Rawalpindi. Mohammad Rizwan, Fakhar Zaman, Imran were tested in Peshawar. Kashif Bhatti and Mohammad Hasnain were tested in Karachi.

Pakistan are scheduled to leave for England on June 28 via a chartered plane. They are scheduled to play three Tests and as many T20Is.
