International cricketer of Kashmir Parvez Rasool shined in his first match Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League with match winning unbeaten 53 run knock for Gazi Group Cricketers against Mohammedan SC at Savar, Dhaka on Thursday.
In his first match in the league, Parvez scored unbeaten 53 and formed match winning 144 run partnership with Nasir Hussain to help Gazi Group Cricketers to beat Mohammedan SC by 7 wickets.
Batting first Mohammedan SC scored 220 runs for the loss of eight wickets in allotted 50 overs. In reply Gazi Group achieved required target in 37 overs for the loss of three wickets. Nasir Hussain remained unbeaten on 106 runs while as Parvez remained not out on 53.
In Bowling Parvez went wicket less in his nine overs but had one stumping chance missed of his bowling. There was also one drop catch of his bowling.
Pertinently Parvez opted to play in Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League after getting snub in ongoing IPL-2017.
