Continuing his magic with ball, Kashmiri star cricketer Parvez Rasool took three crucial wickets to help Gazi Group Cricketers register another dominating win in the ongoing Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League against Legends of Rupganj at Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Prothisthan Ground-3,Savar on Thursday.
Gazi Group defeated Legends of Rupganj by eight wickets. Batting first Legends of Rupganj got all out for 156 runs 44 overs. In reply Gazi Group got to the target in 36 overs for the loss of only two wickets. The stage for the big win was set by the bowlers with Kashmiri star Parvez rasool again shining for his side. Parvez who is overseas recruit for the Gazi group took three wickets in his 10-over quota and gave only 17 runs. He bowled two maidens as well. His wicket tally also included Bangladesh stalwart Mushfiqur Rahim whom he bowled out. Among other bowlers Abu Haydar picked four wickets and was adjudged as man of the match.
Like in the second match , Parvez again did not got chance to bat in this tie as well due strong response from Gazi Group top order led by skipper Anamul Haque 34 and Jahurul Islam 62*. Mominul Haque scored 44 while as Nasir Hussain 15*.
In the only match Parvez got chance to bat he scored unbeaten 53 while as in second match he picked four wickets.
So far in three matches he has picked seven wickets and scored 53.
