Srinagar: After decent performances in his first two games for Gazi Group Cricketers in the Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League, star cricketer Parvez Rasool said that he wants to contribute for his team with mire match winning performances.
“It is always good to contribute in team win but I will like keep performing in a way that helps team in future as well,” Parvez said.
“I already know how the wickets are in Bangladesh. The ball usually keeps low with occasion untoward bounce. Keeping that in kind I bowled wicket to wicket and that is the reason I got two LBW decisions in my favor,” Greater Kashmir quoted Parvez.
“I am happy with my performance and to get man of the match award was extra motivation. The whole team management praised my effort and I am hopeful that I keep contributing with both and bowl for the team,” he said.
“The quality of cricket is good and the conditions make it extra difficult. It needs real motivation and skills to excel in this league,” he said.
Parvez said that weather conditions are too tough for the 50-over cricket and only a player with high fitness levels can compete in these conditions.
“The weather here in Bangladesh is hot and humid. The 50-over game is real difficult to play in these conditions. It challenges you mentally and also physically. I am keeping myself hydrated in order keep myself fit,” he added.
Pertinently Parvez joined the Dhaka League after getting double snub in the ongoing Indian Premier League T20.
