Proving his detractors wrong and decision of team management right, Owais Shah making his comeback into team scored quick 50 for J&K at crucial time on the first day of Ranji Trophy match against Jharkhand at Jamshedpur on Thursday.
Shah came into middle when J&K were 150/5 with Parvez Rasool and Ian Dev back in pavilion. He played aggressor from first ball and went on to form partnership 68 runs with centurion Shubham Khajuria who got out after scoring 101 run knock. The duo took J&K total past 200 run mark.
After Khajuria fell, Owais Shah continued to play his strokes and notched us his 51 in 65 balls that included 7 fours and 3 sixes.
J&K are 231 / 6 after 61 overs with Punit Bisht batting at other end on 6.
