Kupwara: In the ongoing North Kashmir TCI Invitation Cup-2017, Khuroo Gulara Sports defeated Star Kupwara by 10 runs.
Earlier Khuroo Gulara Sports won the toss and decided to bat first, managing to score 166 runs in alloted 20 overs here at Higher secondary ground Handwara.
Bilal Ahmad played a superlative knock of 71 runs for Khuroo Gulara Sports.
In reply Star Kupwara fell short by 10 runs to win this match as thoier inning ended on 156 runs.
Bilal Ahmad was declared man of the match for his superlative knock, and the awards among players were given by legendary cricketers of Handwara, Mohammad Iqbal Bandy and Arshid Hussain Shampoo.
