The last over heroics by Muzaffer who smashed six and four of last two balls helped Shaheed Irfan cricket club to secure place in the semifinal of the ongoing Late Majid T20 cricket tournament at Rajouri Kadal Srinagar on Saturday.
Shaheed Irfan Club required 10 runs from last two balls of the match. Muzaffer’s facing Pollard smashed first ball for the six and then completed sensational win by the four of last ball to lead his side in semifinal.
Earlier batting first Star Club 123 in the allotted 15 overs. Suhail with 25 and Ishfaq with 22 were highest scorers for them while as Amir Aziz took three wickets for Irfan Club.
In reply Shaheed Irfaan Cricket Club achieved required target for the loss of three wickets.
Umer with 68 runs was highest scorer for them while as Muzaffar scored unbeaten 40. Muzaffer was declared man of the match.
