Indian national cricket team skipper Virat Kohli heaped praises on Pakistan pacer Mohammad Amir, saying the 25-year-old is one of the ‘toughest’ bowlers to face, and an ‘outstanding’ bowler.
Kohli made the remarks during an interview recently with Bollywood actor Aamir Khan, when he asked the former to name that one bowler who made him a tad nervous.
“From the bowlers I’ve faced recently, I think Mohammad Amir from Pakistan is among the top three bowlers in the world. And he is one of the toughest bowlers I’ve faced in my career. He’s one such player against whom you have to play your A game all the time otherwise he will strike. He is that type of a bowler,” Kohli replied to Aamir’s query.
“Outstanding, very good bowler,” Kohli added.
Amir dismissed batting-giant Kohli during the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy final, which also saw Pakistan lifting the trophy at the end.
