Messi sends heart-breaking message regarding the Syrian war crisis

The Argentinean ace, who is also a spokesman for UNICEF, used his Facebook page to create consciousness about the situation.

Usually, football players use their social media accounts to promote themselves or some of the brands they have sponsorship deals with. This time, Lionel Messi put to good use his Facebook page by creating awareness of a humanitarian situation.

“La Pulga”, who is also a UNICEF spokesman, asked his followers to sign a petition to see the war in Syria come to an end. The Argentine ace is aware of the damage caused by the armed conflict, hinting that being a father figure changed his perspective about these subjects.
