Srinagar: Pakistan star cricketers Shadab Khan and Shan Masood came to the rescue of colleague Hassan Ali on social media after a fan criticised later.
Hassan Ali had posted a heartwarming comment on Shadab Khan’s pictures on X (Twitter) account in urdu language.
However, this gesture did not sit well with a certain X user, who subsequently reposted Hassan’s content with a remark suggesting that athletes needed to be educated on the proper use of social media platforms.
“For God’s Sake @RealHa55an. You are an international cricketer…!! @TheRealPCBMedia @Rehan_ulhaq @TheRealPCB at least educate them how to use social media platforms,” fan wrote.
Shadab Khan stepped in and lashed out at a fan for disrepecting Hassan Ali.
“Messi english na bolay theek. Foreign players english mai aesi baat ker de theek. Laikin hmy chahe ke ham natural na rahe. Hum fake personality bna le. Bhai mujhe to apne culture ya mazak mai koi sharam nahi. Allah sab ko khush rakhay aur dosre ki khushi mai bhi khush rakhay,” Shadab Khan Tweeted.
Adding to the conversation, Shan Masood also responded to Shadab’s post, noting that it had become a national inclination to belittle others.
