Manzoor Pandav ‘losing hope’ as he struggles to earn a living

Srinagar, July 21: Manzoor Dar says he is ‘losing hope’ as the cricketer struggles to make a living by playing cricket alone.

Manzoor, a Bandipora native, came to the limelight after earning an Indian Premier League (IPL) gig in 2018 from Kings XI Punjab.

He, however, wasn’t provided any matches before getting released ahead of the next season. Unemployed now, Manzoor is struggling to make ends meet.

” I have to fend for myself and it is extremely difficult as I also have to take care of my ailing mother. I was hopeful, I would get a state government job, but that has not happened.” Manzoor, who is widely known Pandav, told India.com in an interview.

Dar rued that he is losing with the time.

“And it seems there is no light at the end of the tunnel. I am losing hope.” He said.
