The event is being organized by Kashmir Expeditions and Events with the support from JK Tourism, Kashmir Chamber of commerce and Industries, J&K Bank, J&K Traffic Police and Gulmarg Development Authority, and sponsored by TCI Max, Saifco Cements, Fat Panda, Rockwool, Hotel Comrade Inn, Hotel Alpine Ridge, Shuhul Mahindra, Peaks Auto, Greater Kashmir, Spectrum Advertising, Moto Explorers Club and 92.7 Big FM.

Speaking on the occasion, Mahmood Shah said, “I am happy to see such type of events being held in Kashmir on regular basis and our department will always be ready to promote such events”.

“We have been promoting motorsports from last many years and part of that was famous Raid de Himalaya that used to pass through Kashmir, Ladakh. However, this time that couldn’t be held due to situation in Kashmir and instead of that we have been able to organize couple indigenous events including this one,” he said.

He said that after cancellation of Raid de Himalaya, Tourism is encouraging local organizers and this season Gulmarg will witness series of frozen rush motorsport events and that would be followed after this expedition.

Kashmir Expeditions and Events head Tofail Khan on the occasion said, “The event is being held to promote Kashmir as an all weather all sport destination and this event would  not have been possible without the response and support of JK Tourism and the civil administration of the State”.
