Kongamdara, March 13: In the grand finale of the 8th Edition of the Kongamdara Super League, today HCC Hanjiwera defeated SARCC Aboora by a huge margin of 68 runs to clinch the trophy.
Batting first, HCC posted a huge target of 181/7 in alloted 20 overs. Amir Khan played a brilliant knock of 79 runs while as Showket scored 42 runs. Fayaz took 3 wickets for Aboora.
In reply, Aboora started well but lost momentum in the middle overs and only managed to score 113/9 in alloted 20 overs, thus giving a healthy victory to Hanjiwera by 68 runs to lift the trophy. Fayaz top scored with 27 for Aboora while as Umer took 4 wickets for HCC Hanjiwera.
Amir with bat and Umer with ball were the star performers for HCC Hanjiwera in the finals of the tournament.
