Kashmir special cricketer to play in PD World Cricket series-England

In a major boost to the physical disability sportspersons in Kashmir, Amir Hassan Rather a special cricketer from Kashmir has been selected to play in Physical Disability World Cricket Series scheduled to be held in England.

In a selection meeting held on May 29, Amir was selected as left arm pacer for the All India Cricket Association For The Physically Challenged (AICAPC) Wadekar Warriors team. Team comprise of 20 members including four standbye.

An Indian team will represent the country in the first 2019 Physical Disability World Cricket Series which will be held in England. The tournament, organised by the England and the Wales Cricket Board, will be held at Worcestershire from 3 to 13 August.
