
A budding footballer from Srinagar’s Bemina area Suhail Ahmed Bhat is participating in the selection trials in Under-15 National football camp for the upcoming International friendlies and AFC cup matches at Goa.
Suhail was called for the ongoing camp at Goa by head coach of U-15 Indian National football team and is currently part of the trials.Ad
Suhail is one of the footballer of State Football Academy run by J&K State Sports Council. He started his career in SFA U13 team two years back and his performance in Under-13 and 15 I-League tournaments was impressive and has been performing well in Premier Division League matches at this age.
Suhail is the third player from State Football Academy who is at present in the National Camp with Reshi Rajput and Sajjad Parray also present there. Goalkeeper Muheet Shabir who is presently with ISL Team Kerala Blasters and another player Touseef who was part of Pune City FC (ISL team) last season are also taking part in the camp.
“He is talented and we expect him to do well in the camp and get selected for India team, ” Said Kashmir football coach.
