Islamia College Cricket team booked place in the semifinal of Inter-College Cricket T20 tournament being played at GDC Anantnag playfield.
In the quarterfinal Islamia College beat GDC Kulgam by a huge margin of 104 runs. After winning the toss Islamia captain decided to bat first and scored a mammoth 215 runs for the loss of 3 wickets. Captain Kamran scored 65 not out and Zaid 48.
Chasing a stiff target of 216 runs the Kulgam team could reach 111 runs only in 14 overs losing all wickets in the process. For Islamia College Bilal took three wickets, Kamran and Mehfooz took two each. Kamran of Islamia College captain was adjudged the man of the match for his brilliant all round performance.
