Junaid Baigh (Kashmiri alpinist and mountain biker) has became first person to successfully complete the World famous Trekking destination called THE GREAT LAKES on his Mountain Terrain Bike solo from 20th to 24th July 2017.
The expedition was sponsored by Kashmir expeditions of Kashmir.
“Great Lakes that is almost everybody knows, I had to cross three passes with more than 4000 metre high above sea level. It was more mental challenge than a physical because as when you are alone in the mountains it effects your mental fitness. Many people on the way were telling me that you cannot do it you go back there is hardly any space for foot and you cannot do it with cycle but I was focussed on my challenge if not this time then never ever. With multiple injuries which is part of the game finally I made it And open the door for others”,” Junaid said
