SRINAGAR: Sunday proved to be full of action as eight matches were played in State Cricket Academy T-20 Championship across various districts of the valley.
In Srinagar district fixture, Srinagar Cricket Club beat Hyderia Cricket Club by 32 runs.
Thanks to Bilal Ahmad’s 22-ball 43, Srinagar Cricket Club amassed a score of 173 for the loss of six wickets. Hyderia Cricket Club couldn’t get anywhere near the target, getting bowled out for 141. Bilal was awarded man of the match trophy for his brilliant knock.

Riding on a five-wicket haul from Nasir Ahmad, Kulgam Kings beat Black Caps by two wickets. Nasir’s five wickets ensured Black Caps were restricted to 132 all-out, before overhauling the target losing eight wickets. Nasir walked away with man of the match award.
In Anantnag district fixture, Young Kadipora beat Janglatmandi Tigers by 21 run. Batting first, Young Kadipora posted a score of 165 for the loss of seven wickets. Mohd Amin with 41 and Muzamil Khan with 34 were substantial scorers for their side. Muzamil Bhat took three wickets for Janglatmandi Tigers.
Janglatmandi Tigers were bowled out for 144 in 18.2 overs. Junaid Malik was the highest score with a 23-ball 43. Manzoor took four wickets for Young Kadipora to earn him the man of the match award.
Over in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district, Safapora Blues beat Academy Ganderbal by 11 runs. Batting first, Safapora Blues set a target of 132 to Academy Ganderbal which the latter couldn’t achieve, falling short by 11 runs.
Adil was chosen as man of the match for his well made 49 runs.
In South Kashmir’s Pulwama district, Sadabahar Juniors edged past Paradise Pulwama by three wickets with Man of the Match Auqib playing a crucial role in the succesful chase by making an undefeated 49. Batting first, Paradise Pulwama made a score of 160 in the alloted 20 overs which Sadabahar Juniors scaled down losing seven wickets.
