In the ongoing J&K Premier League (JKPL) Budgam leg, two matches were played at two separate venues of Budgam on Monday.
In the match played at Narbal ground, FCC Peyth Kanihama defeated Bazaar Badshah-XI while as in the match played at Sozeith playing field, TCC Khag defeated Syedpora cricket club.
At Narbal, batting first Kanihama scored 136 runs for the loss of all wickets. Maqsood with 24 and Younis with 23 were highest scorers for them. For Badshah’s, Bilal took four wickets while as Rayees took two.
In reply Bazaar Badshah’s were bundled out for 61 runs. Umer with 15 runs was highest scorer for them. For FCC, Zubair War took a five wicket haul while as Zubair junior took two. Zubair war was adjudged as man of the match.
At Sozeith ground, TCC Khag batting first amassed huge total of 206 runs in allotted 40 overs. Naveed with 46 and Ishfaq with 38 were highest scorers for them while as Haaris took three and Syed Ishfaq took two wickets for Syedpora.
In reply Syedpora Cricket Club were bundled out for 74 runs. Mudasir with 20 was highest scorer for them while as Ishfaq took six wickets for TCC. Ishfaq for his all-round performance was adjudged as man of the match.
