J&K Football Association organized first Inter Grassroots and Inter Academy football competitions 2017 of Kashmir Valley, under the sponsorship of J&K State Sports Council at Bakshi Stadium from July 6 to 9-2017.
39 grassroot centers and football academies took part. The Competition was held in 2 age groups of 6-12 yrs and 13 to 15 yrs.
The competition was conducted under the patronage of grassroots dept. of AIFF and in it 14,00 players belonging to remote corners of all Districts of Kashmir Valley participated.
The event was inaugurated by Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Baseer Ahmad Khan who interacted with all participants and their officials.
In the 6-12 yrs age group, Dangerpora GRC emerged as winner while as ISK Bhagat Barzulla GRC was runner-up. In 13-15 yrs age group, winner was Ganderbal GRC and runner-up was Novelty Chanpora GRC.
