JKCA under scanner for “nepotism” once again

Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) has once again been alleged of nepotism in the ongoing talent hunt trials that are being held across the region.

It is alleged that a player who had failed the U-16 bone test last year has been once again included in the shortlisted players for the U-16 age group. Interestingly, the date of birth of that particular has also been changed.

“This player from Jammu underwent a bone test last year and failed it. But he belongs to an influential family and has been once again included in both U-16 and U-19 shortlists,” players alleged.

“You can check shortlists of last year and this year and clearly see his date of birth has also been changed. Is this how cricket works?” a parent of a player asked.
