JK Sqay team bags 38 medals in national championship

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir bagged 38 medals in 17th National Sqay championship that concluded at Panchkula Haryana on Friday.

In the event, 58 players and 6 official represented JK who bagged 38 medals that included 12 Gold,  13 silver and 14 Bronze medals besides lifting overall third place.

Governor of Haryana Kapatan Singh Solanki was the chief Gust on closing function. He distributed medals among the winners of the championship and congratulated the Jammu and Kashmir players for their remarkable performance.sqay-nazir

The observer of Haryana Olympic Association, Asok Mehta also witnessed the championship. The President of the J&K Sqay Association, Peer Riyaz Ahmad Shah has congratulated the State team for showing the such a performance at National level.

He said that Association will felicitate all medal holder’s of the very soon and we are hopeful the maximum players of state will represent County in up-coming Asian championship.
