Srinagar: Jammu & Kashmir have finalised their squad for the 2026 Irani Cup clash against Rest of India, with Kashmir Sports Watch learning the details exclusively.

The five-day first-class match will be played from October 1 to 5 at the Sher-i-Kashmir Stadium in Srinagar, with J&K entering the contest as the 2025-26 Ranji Trophy champions.
The fixture will be a major occasion for J&K cricket, coming after the team won its maiden Ranji Trophy title last season.
J&K will face a strong Rest of India side led by Rishabh Pant, with Sarfaraz Khan named vice-captain. The squad also includes Akash Deep, Mukesh Kumar, Mukesh Choudhary, Manav Suthar and other leading domestic players.
The Irani Cup returns to Srinagar as the city prepares to host a major first-class fixture at the Sher-i-Kashmir Stadium. The match begins at 9:30am IST on October 1.
J&K will be without Auqib Nabi, who is part of India’s ODI squad for the West Indies series. Nabi was J&K’s leading wicket-taker during their historic Ranji Trophy campaign.
The Irani Cup is traditionally played between the Ranji Trophy champions and Rest of India, making this J&K’s first appearance in the fixture as Ranji champions.
