In the finals of Inter group Table Tennis tournament of Islamia College played on Thursday ICS Greens defeated ICS Blues in an exciting final by a score of 3 : 2. The incharg Principal of the college Prof. Aijaz Ah. Bhat gave away the trophies to the winners and Runners up teams. 
Meanwhile Inter group Tourney of volleyball was Inaugurated at Islamia Volleyball courts by Prof. Sameer Koul member college sports committee at 11 am with the first match between ICS Blues and ICS Yellows. The team members were introduced to the chief guest before the start of the match. The match ended with a win to ICS Yellows by 2:1 with the score line reading 25: 21, 20:25, 25: 23.
In the second match of the day ICS Oranges defeated ICS Greens by 2:1 with the scores of 25:13, 22:25: 25:14.
The semifinals of the tournament will be played on Saturday between ICS Yellows and ICS Whites and ICS Oranges and ICS Reds.
The tournaments are being organised by the Dept of Physical Education of the college.
