Islamia College resumes adventure activities

With the aim to popularize adventure activities among the students the department of Physical Education of Islamia College organised its maiden trekking trip of this season to Mamnet Meadow in Dara mountain range.islamia college trekking

Thirty-three students and seven staff members under the supervision of Dr Altaf Ur Rehman and Prof Mohammed Hanif participated.

The team was flagged off by the Principal Dr Muzafar Ahmed Khan from the college gate. The group started its trekking from Scholar’s school point at 8:30 am and reached the Mamnet meadow at 11:00 am.

At the summit the students were briefed about benefits of participation in trekking and other adventure activities by the accompanying teachers, the college statement said.
