Islamia College beat Amar Singh College in friendly

Islamia College Football eleven defeated A S College Srinagar by 2-0 goals in an exhibition football match played at TRC Football Turf on Wednesday during the inaugural session of “Play for Health” inter College Football tournament to be organised by Department of health services j&k in collaboration with J&K Football Association and J&K State Sports Council.6

The tournament was officially declared open by Minister for health Bali Ram Baghat in a simple but impressive function at the venue. For the winners Shezan found the net in 22nd minute of the first half and Jazib consolidated the lead with a beautiful field goal in the 63rd minute in the second half of the match. The football lovers present watching the match , appreciated the players of both the teams.
The tournament is likely to start immediately after Eid at different venues throughout the state.
