The middle order hard hitting batsman of Pakistan Cricket Team Asif Ali has praised outgoing Pakistan Cricket Board Selector InzimamulHaq for the help during his daughter’s illness.
The little daughter of Pakistan cricketer Asif Ali who was battling cancer had passed away in USA where she was being treated. Asif’s daughter was diagnosed with cancer while he was playing in PSL and then she was sent US for treatment. While she was battling for her life in US, Asif was serving his Country by playing for Pakistan in England.
Taking to his official twitter handle to thank Inzzimam for the help during that sad phase he tweeted, “When @Inzamam08 bhai found out that my daughter was suffering with stage 4 cancer, he personally went down to PCB office, spoke about the funds for treatment & got it sorted. Legend beyond words. A true role model both in and out on the field #ThankYouInzamam #Legend #RiseAndRise”.
Inzimam on Wednesday said that he is renewing his contract with PCB and will be stepping down as selector.
