Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) which is famous for raising scandals rather than promoting cricket in J&K are also playing with the careers of talented players by not provided enough chances or no chances at all to them.
In a recent of such activity, JKCA removed one of the rising cricket star Mujtaba Yousuf from Under 19 team. Mujtaba recently featured in India Under 16 camp after performing brilliantly in Under 16 Zonal cricket tournament. He claimed four wickets against mighty West Zone, before getting into north zone team, he had a great run in Vijay Merchant trophy. The first shock for him came when he was not picked for Under 19 one day team and now have been removed from the team which is participating in Cooch Behar Trophy.
The player of his caliber can’t be released from playing eleven but nothing is impossible for the association which works just to gamble money. Removing Mujtaba Yousuf from team was a shameful move by selectors. This reveals the level of selection done by JKCA, even non cricketers can’t take such nauseous decisions. They are sidelining talented cricketers and results are infront of us as none of the teams were even competitive in national tourneys so far. Hope the newly appointed CEO will look into this matter and save career of budding cricketers.
