Making strong start to their aim of qualifying for the I-League Kashmir FC held hosts Fateh Hyderabad Associated Football Club to 0-0 draw at Hyderabad on Saturday.
Playing its first match of the second division I-League, Kashmir FC went into match with boosted side that included two foreigners and some new faces. The match ended in 0-0 draw and Kashmir FC management blamed that on the bad pitch conditions.
“We were not able to play freely and mostly we told our players to focus on defense and don’t exert too much in these conditions. There was chance of injury,” officials said.
Kashmir FC will now travel to Kolkata for their next away match against Southern Samity that is scheduled to be played on April 13.
