Pakistan opener Imam ul Haq has said that he admires Srilankan legend Kumar Sangakkara and looks upto for learning the art of batting.

“The cricketer I look up to is Kumar Sangakkara. I’ve spoken to him quite a bit & he’s a nice person. His drives & way of building innings was something I really enjoyed. I’ve spoken to him quite a lot & whenever I have problems, I look to him for advice, ” Imam ul Haq was quotedas saying.

About the inconsistancy he said, “Inconsistency is there because of the fear of failure. Also, there is a communication gap between our management, the Board & the players. Only when this is resolved will the performances improve”

“From what I have seen, we have a lot of fear of failure in our team and when that happens then you can’t perform consistently. This comes when you fear that after 2 failures, you may not be considered for the team and will be dropped, he added.
