In the ongoing Hajin Premier League, today two matches were played.
In the first match of the day, Titans Cricket Club defeated Eleven Brothers Hajin by 2 wickets. Batting first, Eleven Brothers posted a total of 161/8 on board in allotted 20 overs. Sameer was the top scorer with 31 runs. Farhan took 3 wickets for Titans.
In replay, the match turned out to be a thriller as Titans chased down the target in the last over of the match (162/8 in 19.3 overs). Suhail Bazmi played a brilliant knock of 70 runs for his team. Hakabara took 3 wickets for Eleven Brothers.
Suhail Bazmi was declared as player of the match.
In the second match of the day, Nitians Carrier Institute defeated Zahoor Motors comfortably by 5 wickets.
Batting first, Zahoor Motors posted a total of 131/10 on board in 19.2 overs. Nasir Baba was the highest scorer with 25 runs. Tanzeer and Adnan took 3 wickets each for Nitians.
In response, Nitians chased down the target easily in 19.2 overs loosing only 5 wickets (135/5 ). Aabid Baba top scored with 47 runs while as Tanzeer added unbeaten 31 runs.
Tanzeer was declared as player of the match for his all-round performance.
